every decision helps some players and costs others, you can't manage a team thinking about every player's career
While I don't disagree, there's a difference between risking someones health and in turn their career vs where they pitch in the rotation or whether or not they play at AAA next year. Hell, where was Ramos before he got traded to us? What was Clippard doing with the Yanks?
