i disagree, Verlander isn't some young kid and he conditions to pitch that deep.  Obviously, there are two divergent lines of thinking on the subject though.

But if by insane you mean the slang term, then I agree.

It's still April. His arm strength can't be at its season maximum strength and the 130s is the absolute highest you should ever see any pitcher go ever.

That pitch count is for a veteran in prime shape at the end of the season in a playoff-run high leverage situation. Only.

But hey, if they want to risk his arm in April, not my team.

We will have to disagree on this one, I've seen different material on pitch maxs than 130, there certainly isn't a hard set proven number on the issue.

Nicknames should be shorter than your real name except in the event of a nickname with unreasonable awesomeness.
