15 Ks for the Nats' pitching in 9 IP today? That's impressive

Stevie, never touch Desmond with your right hand/arm.

the mets remind me of that nats team that had cabrera/shell/rivera/etc ... we made like 11 roster moves in a span of one day b/c the bullpen walked everyone.

The Mets franchise is supposedy losing money, so they're taking our leftovers:
Batista, Rauch, etc.

want a telling sign of why this year's club is different?

after losing two tough (and winnable) ballgames in back-to-back nights in two different cities, the fact they won their next two ballgames.  two series win to open up the year (especially on the road) ... this organization doesn't have a team in the past (outside of 2005) that could pull that off.

plus give desmond credit to get the bad taste out of the nats mouth by setting the tone last night with the leadoff homer.

Good start to the season. Now to see how we do at home.

Any chance Teddy will win now that the Nats are learning how to do it? :mg:

Wow...  the non-flash version of MLB Gameday looks just as good as the flash version to me, and runs a lot better.

How do you get it?

Comparative dates on which the Nationals notched their 4th win, each season:

2011 - 10th April (9th match of season)
2012 - 11th April (6th match}
2005 - 12th April (8th match)
2008 - 13th April (13th match - snapping 9-match losing streak that followed that 3-0 start)
2010 - 15th April (9th match)
2006 and 2007 - 16th April (13th match)
2009 - 26th April (17th match)

Came to work (in New Jersey) on Tuesday, and people are asking "Who won the Mets game?"

Now they ask, "How many pitchers do the Nats have?"
