Everyone knows Steve Traschel deserves that honor.  Pelfrey is awful but he'll look like a legitimate SP tonight.

Over/under for number of pitchers who have their best outing of the year against the Nats offense?

I say 10, starting with Samaramadingdong.

@DanKolko: Here's your #Nats lineup today: Desmond SS, Espinosa 2B, Zimmerman 3B, LaRoche 1B, Werth RF, DeRosa LF, Bernadina CF, Flores C, Jackson P
DeRosa, no Lombo. Damn.

Unfortunately it looks as if Lombo is gonna get sent back down. Doesn't really seem like they're finding the ABs they wanted for him to keep him up here.

I'd take the over big on that.  Some of the pitchers we face are going to hit their strikeout bonuses thanks to the K Brigade.

Only if "two run bomb" is code for a two foot tall bong.

More like a two run strikeout

That could happen. Passed ball strike three, catcher throws the relay into center field... that would be even better than a two run home run!
