It's possible they're not drinking the :koolaid: based on three games against a team that'll lose 100+ games.

It was a joke, paraphrasing something Lobstone tweeted the other day.  Why do you keep asking about the boo birds?  Nobody's going to boo the guy while he's doing well, but that doesn't mean anyone thinks he's going to be able to keep it up.

If it hasn't been already, maybe we should add a shot to the drinking game for every time LaRoche K's.

No, his pass was for sucking during the opener.

Up until opening day, there were a group of posters who always said Desmond needed to be benched or traded.  Maybe it's the same posters who always see the glass half empty anyway.

Davy Johnson sees something else in him.  Until he (or any other starter) is benched, let's root for him

What happened to the Desmond boo birds ?

You sure are taking the long odds. When he reverts to career norms, I am sure people will remember your drooling fan boy worship over a couple of games against the Cubs. :lmao:

Great play by Zim to preserve the no-hitter.

There are plenty of reasonable posters that don't see Desmond having the necessary skills to be a leadoff hitter.  Just because he's off to a hot start doesn't mean he's the second coming of Joe Morgan.

Understand.  But even without leading off, there is a reason Desmond's starting, in Davy Johnson's view

There are plenty of reasonable posters that don't see Desmond having the necessary skills to be a leadoff hitter.  Just because he's off to a hot start doesn't mean he's the second coming of Joe Morgan.

Everybody pretty much sucked in the opener.

That they did, but that doesn't mean he gets a pass cause everyone else did. Had multiple chances to bring in runs, FAIL FAIL. So yesterday made up for it, now we're back to opening day it appears. I ARE RAGE!!!!!!!
