I think I've read this before from the Nats. Last year, LaRoche was fine, with minor pain when he threw, but no, it wouldn't harm his hitting. Zimmerman was returning "next week", every week. Nix just needed a day or two to "rest" a partially torn achilles. Back a few years, and Shawn Hill was coming along fine until they dropped him, and John Patterson was not really hurt, although I remember watching one of his last starts, and wondering at the "89" on the RFK speed sign. In fact, I don't remember a serious injury to anyone except for Nick Johnson's broken leg.
I wonder: will Bryce Harper be in the Nats lineup before Morse?
