The games this weekend aren't in any danger of selling out, are they? I plan to be there on Friday, but I always buy tickets at the gate.

Planning on being in TBSITH for all fixtures of this opening homestand except the third Houston match (18th - Wizards conflict); there's also a Wizards match on Saturday starting midway through that day's baseball (a seat-mate may buy this one as well as the 18th off me but if not I can still catch the first few innings).

Weather still looking promising for tomorrow's home opener - Yahoo! Weather currently calling for 'Sunshine and some clouds. High 62F. Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph', no precip; if this goes heavy extra innings it may get a bit nippy (low that evening 41).

Friday and Sunday are unlikely to sell out but I would expect big crowds and the best tickets to be already sold.  Saturday might come close to selling out with the bobblehead giveaway.

Thursday and Saturday and maybe Sunday.

Looking forward to OD. Our OD group gets bigger every year. We have 24 people meeting at my house and we've rented a small bus. We are in groups of 12, 8, and 4. Next year I'm buying group tickets so we can all sit together. I suspect I will put together a group of 30 or so next year.

Let the games begin!

For Thursday, do we do the routine "meet at the Red Loft in near the centre by the stairs" or do we go to the side?

Also, is it appropriate to bring the floormat (papelbon jersey to stand on) to the OD game, or is that reserved for the Philthy series?

We're getting there early so either the Loft or the Porch works.

The Reds fans are pretty laidback and would be down with that.  If you're looking to get inflammatory save it for the Phillies game and we'll set it ablaze on Half Street after the Phillies Phans are crawling back to their dock jobs after another loss.

i'm getting there at 10 or 1030 am.  will be in yards parking lot, most likely.

probably head into the stadium around 12-1230ish.

If they don't wear Nats gear they ARE the enemy. It's too bad the red sox opening day isn't tomorrow at the same time as the Nats. You'd have to choose whether to watch the Nats and miss boston's 2011 WS ring ceremony or vice versa.

Be sure to get your anger up at a team in a league the Nats don't play in.  It's good practice for divisional rivals of the Nats!

hammonds, OTOH, dreams of being between Jeter and A-Rod.

I'll be rolling into the Yards around 11, tailgating until gametime.

Which side do you refer to, over by the Red Loft lounge area?

My workload is crushing this week, I have no idea when I'll be able to get there.  But will head to the Loft straight away upon arrival, of course.

Anyone that gets on tv tomorrow has to do the gunz salute. We need to make that the "thing".

The problem is knowing when you are on camera, the best bet is to fire away all game long.
