Software/Web Thread (2012)

The bigger they are, the harder they fall:

As day one of the annual Pwn2Own hacker contest wound down on Wednesday, no browser suffered more abuse than Google Chrome, which was felled by an attack exploiting a previously unknown vulnerability in the most up-to-date version. Combined with a separate contest Google sponsored a few feet away, it was the second zero-day attack visited on Chrome in a span of a few hours.

Not just chrome

So far, his team has exploited three of the six eligible vulnerabilities. It took 20 minutes to develop an attack for version 8 of IE running on Windows XP, an hour to write one that pwned Safari 5 on OS X Snow Leopard, and two hours for one that compromised Firefox 3 on Windows XP.

I didn't say just Chrome, but since Chrome was previously unbroken, this is kind of a big deal.

I didn't want to start a new thread so I dug this one up...

Looking for a program that will allow me to take small portions of songs (I assume mp3s), about 10-15 seconds or so, and compile all them all.  I'm trying to plan a party with a "Name that Tune" trivia theme.  I have some friends who want to compete against each other in 80's and 90's music trivia and I have an idea on how I want to work the game but I need song snippets.

Allows you to import mp3's and cut them up or do whatever it is you please. You have to have the mp3s first of course.
