- the Tebow emoticon!
The article indicates that the winner between the Jets and Jaguars will be whoever kicks back the most cash to Denver.  Doesn't sound like it's Tebow's choice.  Jacksonville makes sense.  They have the lowest attendance in the NFL and often have to black out local TV, and whatever extra revenue that might bring.  Since he's a local, Tebow might raise attendance in Jacksonville.

Yeah okay, that makes sense.

Even worse, the NFL inquired of the Saints in 2010 after the allegations first surfaced, and the Saints were vehement in denial.  Now, it's been proved they knew and were lying about it.  So, throw the book at them.  NFL is saying we want this business stopped now.

LMAO at ESPN and their coverage of the Saints scandal. ESPN should never take the moral high ground on anything. Merrell Hoge needs to just quit. That guy is annoying as crap.

ESPN (the TV version - online is a different story) is such a hilariously bad "news" outlet. So, so, so bad. They're creaming their pants at the amount of over-coverage they can give Tebow now. New network forming in July: ESPNT!

I'm sure Tebow's schtick is going to go over great with NYC and the local media.

What on earth was he thinking?

Going to New York definitely determine whether Tebow is the "good guy" he seems to be.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/football-insider/post/nfl-bounty-penalties-sean-payton-gregg-williams-mickey-loomis-suspended/2012/03/21/gIQAJHd0RS_blog.html

"The NFL suspended New Orleans Saints Coach Sean Payton, General Manager Mickey Loomis and former defensive coordinator Gregg Williams Wednesday for their roles in a bounty system that provided the team’s players payments for hits that injured opponents.

Williams was suspended indefinitely. Payton was suspended for one year, and Loomis was suspended for eight games, a person with knowledge of the measures said.

The Saints were fined $500,000 and lose two second-round draft choices, one in this year’s draft and one in 2013, the person with knowledge of the punishments said."

Wow, these are much harsher than I expected. Makes you wonder and worry about what the fallout for the Skins will e when they finish looking at us.   :(

Tebow will get destroyed by the New York media. This might actually take away some of the heat from Sanchez. They'll be too focused on Tebow to notice how crappy the "Sanchize" is...at least until he throws that first pick 6. Jacksonville would have been a perfect destination for Tebow.

This. This. This.  All of the "thanks for not believing in me, appreciate it" crap is going to get the same reception there when fails that The Roots playing a Rick Santorum campaign stop would.  Besides, don't the Jets already have a gimmicky player in Brad Smith?

@ProFootballTalk Michael Bush agrees to terms with the Bears, per league source. Four years, $14 million.

What happens to Forte now?

Bush is their fallback option in case Forte gets hurt. The bears probably feel this gives them leverage in negotiations. But more than likely this is preparation for Forte holding out for the first half of the season.

That and he offers a bruising back option.

For their sake he better.  I love Forte but he's not going to save that team if the receivers are crap again.

NFL confirms Saints had a bounty on Aaron Rodgers, Brett Favre, Cam Newton, and Kurt Warner.

For the good of this team, and of the city of New Orleans, the owner needs to fire the entire coaching staff and front office and start with a clean sheet of paper.  I would be on the phone to Bill Cowher right now.

After learning more about this I have to agree. It's inexcusable to go to these lengths. Yet they still talk about their so called "fraternity". Players are known to tell each other to stay healthy after games. I wonder how many of these hypocrites did so during this time. Also, equally as freaked up is that they were warned to stop doing this a couple of years ago and they kept on doing it.

i'm worried about the overall franchise, i'm not sure that the team could survive if they revert back to the "Aints" of old.
