I doubt they go the orton and wait until next draft route since the guy making the decision might not survive another top ten pick

They may be able to spot someone in this draft out of the first round that they can work with for the future.

Maybe, but I don't see Shanny making it to 2013 if they don't turn it around this year

If the Redskins sign Peyton Manning, he'll throw out the Nats' OD first pitch...and injure himself.   :-[

I was big on Matt Flynn but it makes way too much sense for him to go to Miami now. Not that he has to, but it just seems logical. I agree about Manning preferring to stay in the AFC for the reasons you mentioned Spidey. I'm not sold at all on Tannehill at 6 but at maybe 15-20, I could deal with that I guess. I really thing they need to go all out and get RGIII or at least make a serious run at him. If not, I guess I'd prefer Orton over Rexy, but hell, neither inspires much confidence. Either way, drafting or acquiring a young qb is a must.

If Rax Glassjaw is the LANDOVER FORESKINZ® starting QB I am going to have 20 ignorers once football season starts.

Brock Osweiler really interests me. The only problem with him is that he needs to sit for a year or so to learn. The Redskins don't really have anyone that he could sit behind and learn from (no offense MDS). Osweiler has the tools, but he's kind of raw at this point. I would have liked to see him stay for his senior year at Arizona State.

Funny thing about Osweiler is... teams were actually happy when he showed up at 6'6" 7/8 at the combine rather than his listed height of 6'8".

Apparently a QB can be too tall.

He had no choice. ASU's new coach told him that he wasn't in the team's plans, so it was either enter the draft or try to transfer elsewhere.

Manning is meeting Elway in Denver tonight.  That's a good fit for him, though I really would like to see him go to Houston.

Homer... but a healthy Schaub is one of the Top 10 QB's in the league... I don't think the Texans want to go with the uncertainty of Manning over Schaub.

Why? While I like him, I don't see him as the answer to our qb needs. I am however going to assume that you're being facetious.

I forgot the /sarcasm

At this point if we whiff on a goid qb, start beck and get Barkley- this not sucking quite enough for a top tier qb isn't helping anything

They should just start Grossman, tank the season, and drop this whole "Greatest System Ever®™" bullcrap.

Colts cut Brackett, Addai, Clark, and Bullitt. They're also looking to deal Freeney. I'd be willing to be that at least two of Addai, Wayne, and Clark will join Manning on his new team.

I don't see him following Manning. I think he'll go wherever he can get the most money and passes.

Indy is setting themselves up quite well to get another top three pick next season. This isn't a situation like Carolina two seasons ago where they actually had a decent team in place for Newton to play on; the Colts are going to be freaking awful on both sides of the ball.

It's better than a filler like Orton winning 5 or 6 games and finishing just outside of bad enough to get a top qb

I've been hearing that Cleveland prefers Tannehill to Griffin, so that possibly removes one competitor for Washington in a trade up to two. Combine that with Miami likely getting either Manning or Flynn, and I think Washington is probably the overwhelming favorite to get Griffin; thus, no more Rexy or Back.
