He's OK now, though, right? I remember that play. One concussion forced the team to reach for Weeden in the first? I don't buy it.

(But I actually think McCoy is decent)

I was being facitious... McCoy is not a starter. Back up? Sure, but he's got a weak arm. Think Mark Brunell at the latter stages of his career. Like... As a Redskin  No need to cover deep routes, he can't get the ball over the top with enough velocity to keep safeties honest.

James Harrison vs Colt Mccoy: Helmet To Helmet

James Harrison is a flat out thug and needs to be banned from the league permanently.  He doesn't just do it to Cleveland, he does it all over the league. You should never launch yourself like a missle and clobber someone in their head.  Hopefully he'll get his knees taken out this year.

What better way to start the season than with the DEFENDING SUPER BOWL CHAMPION NEW YORK GIANTS stomping the crap out of the wack ass Cownages.

freak Dallas.  and freak all their bandwagon hat-wearers in DC who have never set foot in the state of Texas but claim to be die-hard Cownag "fans".

NEW YORK GIANTS!

LMAO so much for the mighty super-awesome best quarterback ever Colt McCoy.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000046653/article/brandon-weeden-named-cleveland-browns-starter

Quote
With a rookie quarterback set to turn 29 in October, the Cleveland Browns have no plans to take it slow with Brandon Weeden.

Proclaiming "there's no looking back," Browns coach Pat Shurmur announced Monday that Weeden will be the team's starting quarterback to begin the 2012 season, according to Mary Kay Cabot of The Plain Dealer.

crap...looks like SuperColt wasn't even considered at all for the starting position this year;

Quote
"I haven't taken any snaps with first group," McCoy told Cabot. "I thought coming in it would be a competition."

looks like our resident "Better-than-everyone-else" Browns fan was talking out of his ass about McCoy, as we all suspected.

sorry for poking, but after all the crap talk about SuperColt in this forum, it is deserved.

I'm a Browns fan and I have no issue with saying that Colt is a weak-armed backup.

I also have no issue with saying that Weeden is a freaking huge risk that could totally fail much more easily than succeed.

you won a super bowl last year, you're probably going to be mediocre, you can't complain and no one can talk crap for you for the year. still the champs until next SB.

plus, you've won 2 super bowls the last 5 years. fortunately you are a giants fan who gets it

Something looks faked there.  What is the force causing him to start moving to the right of the frame?  His foot hasn't hit the ground yet, it doesn't look like.

I think its real cause you see 89 look down and to his right as Cassel hits the ground.
