Even the GM got 8 games.

What does that even mean? Is he not allowed to call in plays? Making him sit out the draft would have been more fitting

What exactly does the suspension of a head coach entail?

It means he doesn't coach.

Interesting. Thanks.

Does that mean the Saints pursue a new coach entirely, or stay in house and wait a year for Payton to return? Wow.

Well Spagnuolo is the DC, so I imagine he'll be the head coach this year and they'll give it back to Payton next year.

This is a huge penalty and it will cost them but let's not lose sight of the fact that Payton will still be putting together the game plan. He will still be cutting players. And they may even find a way for him to call plays and addressing through technology. But they have to be careful. A disgruntled player could freak that organization for a while.

will he be allowed in team facilities or to communicate with the team while suspended? This may get brees his extension- if he holds out through otas, mini-camp, and spring training, and they have a new play caller, then they're in the Matt Barkley hunt

probably too late to fire the HC and GM, and Payton is still very popular there.

Bills sign Mark Anderson to pair with Williams as the book ends.

While Anderson can't really play the run, our pass rush should be much improved now!

I'd still take a defensive end with the first round pick if I were Buffalo. Anderson has had massive consistency issues.

Do the coaches have a union or any group bargaining leverage?    Or, are they soley employees of the team?

Apparently they're going LT.

Not a huge fan of that idea as Chan has always seemed to find guys on the line that he can patch things through with. I agree with you.

Either that or a difference maker at CB.

Meh. Hairston is an unproven fourth round pick, so I suppose I get it. As far as corners go, is Aaron Williams going to take over for Florence?

Tebow trade on hold for some reason.  Might be nullified.

Tebow trade on hold because the Broncos want salary relief.
