Mike Tolbert to Carolina.
Cleveland should try to get Jonathan Stewart now if the price is reasonable.

On the Tebow Hback thing, I could see him being used like Aaron Hernandez was towards the end of the of the year last year.  Line up in a running back spot some times, line up as an H-back, line up more in the slot, etc...  He's not as fast as Hernandez, but with the arm it would open things up for 4 or 5 option passes a game to keep the D honest.  His size is enough that he could block a bit.

I wonder if a team would sign him not knowing how his hands are (kind of important for an h back, very important for a te)

ESPN spent the entire morning dwelling on why he didn't pick SFO over Denver, arguing that SFO was much closer to winning a SB and speculating he has issues with Harbarough.  Could it be he saw a weak AFC west, and familiar territory given how many times he's played SD?  Could it be he just prefers the AFC?

yes.  The speculation though is that Harbaugh wouldn't turn the offense over to Manning like Fox will do.

I think everyone downplayed the eli factor- if they are a close family, it's understandable that he wouldn't want to put himself in a position where he has to go against his brother to succeed

That was the conversation we had at work.   Elway promised (and Fox agreed) Manning total control.

The Sporting News is reporting that Tebow will be dealt to either the Jets or the Jaguars for a 3rd round pick.

Saw that as well.    Sanchez has to be puckered up a bit.   Tebow will fit right in with Burress and Holmes.    :)

he would be a really good fit in Philly to back up Vick and run the wild-cat, surprised they aren't going for him.

I'm fascinated by the thought of Tebow in a NE metropolis.

This must be the latest ESPN creation to fuel their Tebow talk.

Just saw this across the wire:  Tebow to NYJ for a 4th round pick and Sean Payton suspended for a whole year.

By Payton, do you mean Greg Williams?

Edit: Holy crap, you were right.

Payton for the year.  Williams indefinitely...presumably more than a year.

@AdamSchefter

Sean Payton suspended one year. Mickey Loomis 8 game and $500,000 fine. Saints fined $500,000 and a second round pick in 2012 and 2012.

Smooth of the NFL to cover it up with the Tebow trade going down the same day.

Wow they dropped the hammer on the Saints.

ESPN is going to love having Tebow in NY.  :bang:
