I need Garcon to have a big game and for Nicks to be held in check tonight or I'm out 125 bucks for losing my fantasy league.

Thought maybe you guys could pass this on to MDS and he could pass it on to the team.

This defense is bad.

...and there seems to be more Giants fans at Fed Ex tonight than there was at Met Life.

Pathetic 3 points allowed before half. Fletcher getting burned by Bennett all night. And no pressure on Eli ever.

i semi gave up on the jets a couple years ago. tonight was the first i've actually rooted a football team to win in a couple years and would have been upset if they lost. actually the skins thanksgiving game was the first in while. but i rooted more this time. rg3 is the man, love watching him play. seems like every pass play is broken and he barely pulls them off

We can hope, but we need to get a healthy pass rush and some safties first. I'm really excited to see what Griffin/Morris can do once they get even more comfortable in the scheme. That and adding a RT... The Shanny's play calling has gotten much better and it has to help having a qb that can make rational decisions and handle pressure. Also love the fact that they are running Griffin less, but more effectively, which I reckon has more to do with Griffin making the correct reads.

Oh, and Trent Williams continues to play some really good football. ;) @ Spidey

From SportsBog:

Quote
Best Sidelines: Play a big-time primetime game against a big-time big-market opponent, and the stars come out. Among the famous names on the sideline before the game kicked off: Joe Gibbs, C.C. Sabathia, Steve Young, Trent Dilfer, Michael Strahan, Bruce Boudreau, Craig Laughlin and Ryan Zimmerman. Dale Earnhardt Jr. was also in the stadium.

Wow. For a week 13 game...

Well Steve Young and Trent Dilfer (really, Trent Dilfer?) were part of ESPNs crew, so do they really count? Dale Jr has been a life long Skins fan, Strahan played for the Gmen, Gibbs = HOF coach etc... Not exactly suprising that they were all there, especially considering the game had a good deal of meaning when it comes to the playoff picture, it's a Monday Night game and RGIII is the NFLs current darling. I couldn't be happier that he's playing to that level either.

This is just the beginning. We FINALLY got the guy. And that's 90% of everything in the NFL. Filling in the rest around him is easy.  This season should have been a free pass but here we are in the middle of a playoff hunt with a very good shot at winning the division in year 1.

Get ready, because we're about to be spoiled for the next 12 years.

Boyz and girlz, the Ravens can be had.   They're not as tough as they think they are.    Flacco can be rattled and RGIII should be able to do just as well as Charlie Batch.   Don't ya think?   :)

I would feast on the liver of Ray Rice with some fava beans and a nice Chianti.

Rice is a good player and even though he's a Rutgers guy, he's likable (not when playing him in fantasy though LOL).

Flacco whines about everything and thinks he's an elite QB.  He is nowhere close to being one.

Ditto as to Harbaugh being an elite coach.

Of course, they didn't bother spotting Zimmerman, who was on the sideline. Seriously, they should have given some time to D.C. sports royalty, too.

Welcome to the new age, NFL! The next decade will belong to the Redskins!

HTTR!!

I said it someplace else:

- Use RG3 as an end-game safety. He's fast enough and big enough, and understands how a QB thinks

- Teach RG3 to punt. Try a quick-kick from the shotgun if the Skins are backed down around their own 5 or 10. Cunningham killed the giants with a quick kick on a windy day...ball rolled 80 or 90 yards)

(Those two skills would make RG3 an honest-to-goodness modern-day Sammy Baugh)

  :lmao:

The route tree has begun to sprout over the last couple of games. I've seen square ins, simple out patterns, deeper slants, hook routes and a gorgeous screen pass set up for a nice gain that would've been even better had Young read it better. Also, Griffin seems more comfortable (and quicker) going through progressions. The misdirection bootleg has also been used well lately but still not enough. It's too bad Davis is hurt because by now he could be running the seam route that I don't think the current TE's are capable of running successfully. But when I saw the post corner route pass to Garcon for 20+ yard gain I was:

Now I'm hoping they continue to extend the playbook and feature a wheel route to someone out of the backfield or to Moss out of the slot.
