I was gonna watch that game yesterday.   I'm glad I didn't.   Read this morning that he's "recovering" in a London hospital.   FOX just said he's "very critical".

I'm worried about how long he was without oxygen to his brain. Anybody know about that?

The article I read said his heart didn't restart on it's own until he got to Chest Hospital.

Yeah, I read that, too. But it would be terrible if they got his heart started but he was brain damaged.

What's the outside on damage?   Four minutes?

Much less than that.  After 90 seconds the odds of brain damage setting in are over 90%, at four minutes a vegetative state is likely but not definite.  Regardless, very, very sad situation.

I thought it was a lot longer than that, let's hope getting him on oxygen  quickly, assuming they did,  would have prevented that. Still, pretty alarming it could happen to someone so young and in good shape.

Sounds like he is improving 'slightly', whatever that means.  It's probably a lucky coincidence that this happened so close to the London Chest Hospital.

What a goal by Crouch. Might be goal of the season.

How frustrating for the Stoke keeper to have his defender get in the way and deflect a 40 yard shot he had lined up to save.

True, but he still should have saved that. Pretty crappy result for City, but they're still in it.

Liverpool and the Spurs in Baltimore:

...  " the same day league rival Chelsea is tentatively scheduled to face Italian titan AC Milan 32 miles away at FedEx Field in Landover and the same weekend as a possible D.C. United friendly."

That's going to be a clusterpuck.  I wonder how many people will try to go to both?  Can't remember the last time Spurs came to the US (or if they ever have).

Nice.  What do tickets run these days?

I bought a ticket to the league match against Stoke (10th March) in West Upper Tier (my favourite signtlines) for a bit over the equivalent of US$100...yet tickets went on sale to the FA Cup tie against Leicester City on the 18th and they cost just 30 pounds in the same area (a bit under $48).

Tickets to Premier League and Champions League matches at the Bridge are fairly difficult to get due to demand - that's why I became a member a few years ago (for big matches it can sometimes be the only way you'll get tickets).

DCU up 4-1 now. Playing so damn well. This has been a very entertaining game. DeLeon is going to be the ROY.

nice to see what happens when they have a complete effort. prior to this i only saw the last fifteen minutes against vancouver and they looked good there.  do pontius and najar still have jobs

deleon's goal was great, so was his shot a minute or two before it that was saved. quick release and a powerful shot
