Yeah and I think it will do some other patches after that, it takes forever for that game to install.  Let me know what server you get on, I forget which one I was on.

hey, what's the difference between a PVE and PVP server in Rift?

is the PVP server open PVP everywhere? or are there places to level in peace?

Same as WoW, PvP is open PvP everywhere.

It's actually older than TOR. I haven't played it, but it was a very poorly reviewed game.

It's cool for a while because it's like "Oh sweet, MMO in Star Trek!  My own ship!  Phasers!  Borgs on mah ship!" but then it gets kind of old, for me at least.  It is f2p now, though.

not even close.

supposedly the game had a very very poor launch.

they went F2P recently and made a lot of improvements to the game, and now it's apparently a pretty good game.

anyhow...I can't decide on a class in Rift.

think I may end up with some sort of Chloromancer/Archon hybrid, cause I wanna be a support class but still be able to fight a bit.

Chloromancer is pretty fun, especially in battlegrounds.

Also, just an FYI if you didn't know, the beginning quests award you with your first 3 souls, but you can pick up quests in your faction's city to get all the rest.  They're all the same, close a rift, use quest item to summon a mini-boss, kill.  You can also buy extra slots like WoW's dual talent specialization, but there are 4 (I think) total so you would have a support, healing, pvp, and dps build and switch on the fly (while not in combat that is).

I'm up for some CO-OP at some point. I haven't touched it yet so I'd like to see what its about. Not sure when I can play though. I've got two mid terms this week.

Can anyone guess which game I've been playing too much of?:

"Your allies are in battle!

Your allies are in battle!

Your allies are in battle! . . ."

Hah, that was fun.

Someone should use a darker tune and do "I'em here in the sha-dows."

I don't know what that is.

Are you serious?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek:_Bridge_Commander

Then go look up all the mods. Essentially, when Activision released the tools and the code, modders were able to make whatever starship they wanted and GREATLY improve the graphics of the game. It's actually pretty cool.

After you get the game, you can get all the mods from BCFiles

Where can I find that game?  And not for $100 on eBay or amazon.
