I returned to my second playthrough in Mass Effect 2. God I love this game.

I really need to do that before 3 comes out.

Will anyone be playing Starcraft 2 tonight or tomorrow and want to teach me what it is and how to play on 2v2 against cpu opponents or something?

I'm on, and sure I'll show you the ropes, though keep in mind I am by no means an expert...  I did lose 16 in a row, remember

Oh yeah.  Just replayed it on Brutal a couple of weeks ago.  Does the starter edition include any of the campaign missions?

Yes, I THINK it said 3 missions plus something about choosing between 2 people?

I'm almost done with this. I want to finish this with everyone being loyal and that final achievement where everyone lives. I didn't get to do that in the first one because I told Jack to freak off and a couple of my peeps died.

After that, I want to do one more playthrough with a Vanguard or Soldier and just make him a total renegade and make fun of everyone except Miranda <3

Nice. What class were you? Are you going to import it? Prepare for a very fun game. Make sure to get some of the DLC if you can spare some points.

How the next Xbox could stop you from playing used games:

http://arstechnica.com/gaming/news/2012/01/how-the-next-xbox-could-stop-you-from-playing-used-games.ars

I read that yesterday. I figured it would only be a matter of time before they found a way to stop the sale of used games.

You know, Onlive works REALLY well, if you have Broadband internet.

and their console only costs like 99 bucks.

thats my thought in response to MS trying to do this.

I wanted to play SC2 with Chief tonight since I forgot my CD's again. I knew it would take  long and that I wouldn't play with him but its taking much longer. Then I have to install AND update.

A buddy of mine had it, said it was buggy.  Heard similar things about it online, but haven't played it myself.  What are your impressions?

actually didn't get it yet.  a friend of mine has it and says it's pretty good.  bit frustrating at times, but once you got used to the flow, it's not a bad get.

p.s. thanks for the feedback

I heard that it was a pretty good game, but it does have some bugs here and there. I plan on getting it at some point in the next month or so. It's $29 at my local Gamestop.

O.k. so I know I'm behind the times here, but I just got back from visiting my brother's house for the Royal Rumble this past weekend and we played a ton of Modern Warfare 3 online (team deathmatches).  It was my first experience in those situations and I have to say that I became hooked.   So I get home at about 2:00 p.m. yesterday and by 6:00 p.m. I had finally made my first full-time connection to XBox live, friend requested my brother and my nephew and went out and bought the game.

Completely impulsive but I have to do more of that....

yeah the CODMW games will get you hooked, problem is most of them are the exact same (in fact I like COD Modern Warfare the original one the best ... and one step above that, i enjoyed COD2/3/W@W more than the modern warfare ones).
