You know, as much as I love StarCraft and enjoyed the campaign in SC2, multiplayer co-op vs AI is just boring and broken.  Every official map is geared towards competitive play, and therefore all the maps are pretty much the same for casual play.  Furthermore, the AI is somehow actually WORSE than StarCraft 1 in that it's utterly unimaginative and 100% predictable.  At least the AI in SC1 would attack from off-angles, do drops behind your lines, vary their tactics a bit, etc.  SC2's AI is the same exact crap every single time.  Build a ball of units and attack you dead on through the front door with them.  It also focuses way too heavily on ground units and does not adapt at all to the player.

Everything in SC2 is balanced for 1v1 competitive play at the highest level.

If you try to play 2v2, 4v4, anything else, it's broken as hell. And yeah, the AI is terrible.

But 1v1 was glorious when I was playing it regularly.

So, I've been working my way through Batman: Arkham City... and I absolutely love the game.

You don't even have to be a fan of Batman to enjoy it... there's something for everyone, from fighting to puzzle solving to plot lines... I've thoroughly enjoyed it so far.

Well, they have MLB 11 and they have an online roster updater where anyone can upload a roster and the fans keep them up to date.

So Star Trek Online, an MMORPG in the star trek universe, goes free to play on January 17th.  Who wants to try it out with me?

Tar Trek looks interesting if I can tear myself away from City of Heroes and Skyrim.

Brief video of MLB12 from CES, featuring NATS

!

I notice that Espinosa and Morse look just like their real-life counterparts and have stances that look pretty accurate, too.

I started DCUO downloading in Steam before I left for work, 14GB, should be easily done by the time I get off, it was estimated 2.5 hours.  Seems like it could be pretty neat.

Nathan, I enjoyed it. It's a weak Crackdown. But its mindless fun for a few hours at a time.

There is a PvP server and some kind of auction house, but not sure about the instances.

Skip ahead to about 4:18 of the video to see one of the coolest game features I've ever seen before!

How in the world they figured out how to have two different glasses see two different screens is beyond me... but man is that cool.

LOL @ them just fixing what is already in Franchise mode instead of giving us the overhaul they promised last year.

It's a very deep Franchise mode

No it's not.

Don't care.

The simulview thing is cool, but I'm nowhere close to thinking a 3D television is a worthwhile investment.

A year and a half after it came out, I have finally played enough 1v1 games in StarCraft II to make it out of the practice league

No, there's actually a fully-supported Mac version.  I've never tried it but Blizzard is very good about supporting Macs so I would assume it's on par with the Windows version.
