have you watched MASH?

Still no better show on TV, ever, IMHO.

If you're saying Friends isn't a quality sitcom... we've got problems.

i never liked friends, characters were way too annoying.

I've actually gotten into "True Blood" thanks to MrsMorse.  Great seeing Chris Bauer getting solid work.

Honky.

I find Tara quite attractive (she's married IRL to a fellow member of the tribe) and her cousin is a total bad azz.

It's horrible.  I want them all to die.

This. Friends is like How I Met Your Mother, only if all the characters had plastic surgery to get silicone implants where their brains used to be.

If I want mindless sitcom, HIMYM, 30 Rock, Fawlty Towers, maybe Big Bang are my mainstays, Flying Circus for the sketches, and M*A*S*H is definitely a classic. Frasier is just this side of tolerable but even those characters get pretty annoying to me after an episode or two.

Honestly, these days when I want to just sit back, turn my mind off, and watch funny TV for an hour, I watch Phineas and Ferb.

I think Seinfeld is my favorite sit con of all time, I love Lucy is great too, but it's harder to find on now

Seinfeld's "Mr. Pitt" has passed away.   He had some great moments - not being able to pick socks, eating a candy bar with a fork and knife, but this will always be tops:

Ending of Season 3 through middle of Season 4 is some of the best tv I've ever seen.

Well, sort of.

I agree. I felt like it had some of the best episodes, which includes one of my favorites in the entire series The Constant.

The Constant is by far my favorite episode of the series. Stands up there with the best episode any show has to offer.

I agree with that. It's so rare to enjoy an episode that much.

Oh man, the Phineas and Ferb parody of Indiana Jones was amazing. Fez dispenser

Best kids show on TV. My wife and I actually watch it sometimes.

Why is The Big Bang Theory not on Netflix or Hulu?  Seinfeld either.  Dammit.

Yeah but only recent eps / current season.  I think you have to pay for the previous seasons.

On the one hand I agree.  On the other hand I am not a fan of a future where nobody ever owns anything and everything is "licensed".  Or rather a present, since it's mostly already like that.

I like add supported tv and am not looking forward to a day when cable companies become. just dumb pipes that get away with charging a fortune to let you pay apple/amazon/whoever to stream tv
