I finally finished season 1 of Mad Men.  I was struggling to get through it until that last episode, which was phenomenal.  Probably suckered me in enough to go on to season 2.  Problem is I keep comparing it to The West Wing, which, IMO, really isn't a fair fight.

Ebay is awesome.  Got season 2 for $11.50 (after shipping)

You could get a Netflix subscription and watch the first 4 seasons for $7.99 per month. Cancel it when you're done.

Eh, I don't have enough time to devote to it right now that it'll be cheaper for me to spend the 11.50 and take my time to go through it than it would be to do it through netflix. Plus then I'll be able to watch them again someday...

Or leech it off the girl you're sleeping with but not dating.

lol...Don't have one of those.

I'm gonna laugh so hard when your life turns into the script from a studio romcom.

Depending on the movie, I may be ok with that arrangement.

Finally watched the Breaking Bad premiere earlier today.  Totally awesome.  Can't wait for tonight's episode.

Absolutely loved the exchange between Walter and Saul, and the minor bombshell that Ted was still alive.

Looks like modern family may get delayed

http://m.hollywoodreporter.com/thr-esq/modern-family-sues-20th-contract-negotiations-353575

Quote
Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that cast members Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet and Sofia Vergara are filing suit today in Los Angeles Superior Court to void their contracts. The legal theory, according to sources who have seen the lawsuit, is that their deals violate California's "7 Year Rule," which prohibits personal services contracts for longer than 7 years. This tactic is a common one for actors who seek to void contracts during renegotiations for increased compensation.

I'll probably come across as an idiot for admitting this, but Brand X on FX rocks. First few episodes he was a douche and the show sucked hardcore. Then last week was insanely awesome. Now this week he added guests for the first time and really owned the show. Best two episodes of a talk show I've ever seen. He's obviously extremely intelligent, and now does an awesome job. Funny and intriguing at the same time. Have the Creator of Sons of Anarchy on? Spend half the time talking to audience members about the Batman shooting. And it works. I'd give it as a high a recommendation as I can, and I rarely say that.

I figured he taped them all months ago, but per the Batman crap, clearly not. Thus they tinkered with the biggest piece of crap I'd seen and made it brilliant.

Doctor Who is back this month or next.

The Doctor vs every Dalek he has ever faced.

The season 7 trailer was epic.

Any Of you ever see "the IT crowd?". It's a British comedy about an IT shop in a disfunctional company.  Absolutely hilarious.

Breaking Bad continues to move closer to the end... every episode ratcheting the tension up just a bit.

Can't wait to see how it all ends...

Discussion of my thoughts on how the show will end...

Who will be the hero to put Walt down? My money is on Skylar.
