Loved the book... was hoping the movie would be similar... but this looks like a generic zombie movie.

Having said that, it does look like decent blockbuster action.

Just came here to post about this.  Looks freaking awful, IMO.  Fast CGI zombies?  Barf.  GTFO with that crap.

I'm not usually one for musicals, or at least I've been turned off of them by all the stupid (IMO) ones my mom used to watch, but I want to see that.

But not in a theater.  God damn "I Dreamed a Dream" always comes RIGHT when someone is cutting onions.

It usually comes when I've got a case of allergies, for me.  I've seen it on stage a handful of times.  Worth it.

It sounds like you're watching the wrong musicals. Paint Your Wagon, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Rocky Horror Picture Show and of course Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog are musicals that you'd probably really enjoy.

Forgot about RHPS, I do like that one.  But when I was a kid, my mom used to always have ones from the 50's on that always seemed to be set in a tropical area and have military men and stupid campy songs.

Naomie Harris, from Skyfall, says the next James Bond should be..............Idris Elba.

Here's a fun page
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_actors_considered_for_the_James_Bond_character
(Michael Caine could have been James Bond instead of George Lazenby. MICHAEL CAINE COULD HAVE BEEN JAMES BOND. Also, check this out: Liam Neeson rejected the role because he was "not interested in starring in action movies.")

"Skyfall" was a perfect 10. The only other flix I gave that score to are "Blood Simple" and "Pusher 3: I am the Angel of Death".

the next Bond should be Michael Fassbender.

That's what a lot of people are saying. I think he'd pull it off. He had the Bond swag in Inglorious Basterds.

Is James Bond supposed to be the same guy, or do they have new agents become James Bond?

Bond is the same guy. just different actors and different time periods.

for example, Craig's Bond is more of a "Early Career" Bond, it would seem.

as for Idris Elba...I'd cast him in a supporting role as another 00 agent, and then you can spin him off to his own movies as an addition to the 007 Franchise.

but I would not cast him as James Bond.

skyfall was the best movie I've seen this year.  It was so much better than quantum of solace and javier bardem put on a show.
