Agreed. TS Debby doesn't want to go anywhere ...

Irony abounds. Reminds me of another Debbie that just wouldn't leave.

cap weather gang says many metro trains have returned to end points due to the storm and damage.  More than 340k without power.  our power flickered but stayed on, but we lost at least one tree.

Lots of neighbors lost power. Streetlughts out. Trashcans blown over. I saw a rat fly by.

Was drinking at CCSP, as usual on a Friday.  They flickered about 2 or 3 times and lost every game - except Red Sox - Mariners!   Then they lost em all. At least the DJ played Ramones and Green Day.

Here in Springfield my whole neighborhood power went out, my sister(s) one in Woodbridge and another in Annandale still have power. This storm came from nowhere I was in shock when it came, earlier in the day at around 7 I was watering my yard :?

Have power but it was nasty.  The weather gang warned on facebook and an emergency alert went across the top of my Tv screen.

we have power and internet, but no TV or phone service via Fios.

We lost our biggest, best tree, a fine healthy white oak that must have caught the wind directly.  It snapped off and took a number of smaller trees with it, and did some damage to my neighbor's cars over 50 feet away.

Unfortunately it's been towed but some of the lawn furniture up on the roof (17th floor) went through some maroons rolling crapcan last night (Mini Cooper).

I miss watching storms roll in from the 19th floor, I don't miss walking up 19 floors when the power went out

Our power flickered off and on a number of times. It was a pretty intense storm. Supposedly a tornado touched down near our hospital, WMHS. Tree branches all over my property and evidently a lot of knocked down trees. Power was out at my MiL's house until 4am.

I've got the same FIOS issue Tom has.  Internet and cable but no dial tone.  Must be due to having the name in blue now.

Friends of mine lost trees which caused their car to be totaled. Seems like a lot of people in NoVA lost power.

Our power is back on in south Arlington. (Oddly only the part of the Columbia Pike neighbourhood east of Walter Reed drive was affected - I did some walking round this morning and the area west of that was operational.)

I didn't realize people lost water. Freaky. Glad I have been hunkered down in my fortress of solitude.
