Get jealous, I'm on the verge of maxing out at 135lbs on the ol' bench press.

You're telling me.  Today we did a nice stroll down the Mount Vernon trail for about two hours taking pictures, hanging out at Roosevelt Island, trying not to run over clueless maroon. Not too shabby for a windy February day:
(Image removed from quote.)

On a nice sunny almost warm day like this you could stop at Gravelly Point and watch the rats cavorting in the rip-rap along the creek.  They were sure to be out and about today.

I think there's too much mud for that.

No, both banks of the creek (at the end of the runway) are lined with large stones (a.k.a. "rip-rap") and I never cease to be astonished by the quantity of rats that emerge when the situation is to their liking.

I think they get quite a few food spills to feast on.

On a lighter note, I flew up to Boston today.  Cloudy most of the way.  We get through the cloud bank, and I see this white stuff all over the place, covering the ground, and tried to remember what the heck it was.  Then when I go to catch the bus to the T from the terminal, I had to put a jacket, hat and gloves on!  I almost forgot about those things after yesterday.

tornadoes now in NW georgia, reports of one in downtown atlanta.  Absolutely unheard of to have this kind of storm activity this early in the season according to the talking heads.

Hey, ask them why if I bring my own mug to Dunkin Donuts to avoid those styrofoam cups they still measure out my coffee in a styrofoam cup.

Good question.  How big is your mug?  If you go to the same store, they ought to be able to measure it once and figure out what to charge.   I really don't mind paying for the next size up if they let me use my mug.  I suggest you fill out the "TellDunkin" survey that is on every slip and put this in your comment, even if you don't want the freebie donut.

Snowing in G'burg! Of course, it won't stick, but it's pretty.
