It was sunny 10 minutes ago, now it's crazy windy and so much snow coming down I can't see the neighbors house

Pretty much here too, and we're 80 miles apart.  Just happened 10 minutes ago.

Wind has died down some now, but still snowing steadily.  I've never seen something change so fast from blue skies to blizzard conditions.  Must be a front moving in.

Same.  My thermometer read 42 when I got up (at 2) and is at 37 now.

As I was reading this, the wind started blowing stink here in Gaithersburg.

Edit; Here's the snow, too.

Holy crap it's slippery on the main roads.  Side roads are untreated and fine because the snow has been blowing off, main roads are treated so the first snow melted making it easier for the rest to stick instead of blowing off.  Did a nice tank slapper coming out of the parking lot.

i don't think we'll get much more snow than we already have, but the wind is brutal and as slate mentioned, it's damn cold out.

The Euro model shows a big Nor'easter snow event hitting the Mid-Atlantic on Sunday evening, other models don't show it.  Stay tuned....

Ready for spring - took my kids to the park yesterday and threw the ball around then they took some cuts in the batting cage. The winter had its chance and it dicked around.

I thought the euro was a failure due to the PIIGS?  It only works for Germany.
