Six outs away from the yearly Rangers implosion.

This still isn't as bad as Game Six in last year's World Series, though.

Amazing how well the GIO trade worked out for both the Nationals and Athletics.

Moss clears the bases on the first pitch. Play muffed in the outfield allowing third run to score. It's over.

RIP Ron Washington's job if the Rangers lose the wildcard game.

I can't see that. I think he's got quite a bit of job security!

I think so too, which frustrates me because he lost that World Series by himself.

Well, one team that had the best record in its league most of the season and was comfortably in first place for months choked away the division title and is now skulking into the wild card game looking battered and broken.

But it aint the Nats!!

Didn't it start here independently?  I'm not saying Twitter didn't do it first, but I believe its use here was unrelated.

Oh, no idea. They had Barves shirts and everything, MLB shut them down.

I introduced it in one of the GDTs, but I saw it previously somewhere else - possibly a Braves board, but I can't recall...

Longoria with 3 HRs for the Rays tonight.  The Yankees are destroying the Sox, so the O's will be headed to Texas...
