Atlanta lost. Cincinnati lost.  Pittsburgh lost.  The only team that let any ground today was the Orioles who lost to the DAMN YANKEES!

Chris Tillman had to leave the game with elbow stiffness. I hope it's nothing serious. He was finally pitching well. Also, Tampa utterly bombed Ricky Romero. What has been up with him this season?

I hope Romero has been battling an injury. Hate to see guys just lose it like that.

what the freak was that crap? Fastball right down the middle to Chipper who was sitting on that pitch? Seriously... Did he give that up on purpose?

And Bourn struck out two batters prior but the ump gave him a free pass. And Frandsen should have had that Prado grounder.

How do you blow a 7-1 lead?

And how does Papelbon do that? He's been lights out all year. Why did he throw Chipper another fastball? He was just on the prior pitch

You know we're in a pennant race when we're criticizing the Phillies for blowing a game.  :mg:

At least that will silence the jerks saying that the Phillies were going to make the playoffs.

But come on. 7-3 lead in the 9th?? Walking Janish and Bourn? Throwing a meatball to Chipper??

Wow...I went out to dinner with my girlfriend and I thought the Braves were sure to lose, being down 7-1 at the time.  Guess I was wrong...

Has anyone noticed that Charlie Brown grew up to be a very capable pitcher for the Rangers?
