Close to changing my name to "RotInHellSelig"

I don't know if you noticed it, but Peter Angelos and the Nats own Stan Kasten were also in that pic. Can you spot them?

not gonna lie, had goosebumps seeing jorge posada throw out the first pitch today.  man was that guy a helluva catcher and just a class act.

what i love about the yankees is there is just so much tradition in that organization.  love 'em or hate 'em, can't take that away from them.

today must have been retired catchers day.  Wake and 'Tek threw first pitches to Dwight Evans and Jim Rice.

Johnny Pesky made it to his 70th anniversary of his first game.

Octavio Dotel is pitching in his 14th season and has been on 13 different major league rosters.  This has to be some kind of record.

Oh of course.

But we all knew Kasten's a douche.

It is a record.

Is it a record all of his own or is he tied with someone?

The one hit came against the pitcher, at that.

Some stats from last night's extra innings win for the Marlins - Heath bell pitched one inning.  He walked 3 guys and struck out one.  Hanley is now hitting .133.  Reyes made two errors.

Buerhle looked like he's always looked - very hittable but doesn't walk too many guys.  Probably no better than Edwin Jackson.  Josh Johnson has gotten knocked around in both of his starts.

It's early, but I'll be happy to see the Marlins flop and Loria lose his bet.  Loria and Angelos are two of the most turrible-est owners in sports.

Must not be his throwing shoulder.  Because if it is, he's finished.

Phillies shut out today by the Mets.  They've only scored 20 runs this season, second worst only to Pittsburgh (with only 11 )

The Marlins have just imploded in the 9th.  They've given up four runs so far and are now losing 5-4.
