You will when the Nats make the World Series.  ;)

Don't mind him. PANatsFan is actually more of a Lerner family fan than a Nats fan or even a NL fan.

I realize this was totally sarcastic, but this is exactly why it's almost driving me nuts as a Dunn fan at this point. Today, 4ABs. 2 hits, including the homer, which he's on pace for 48!!! So two chances to strike out, and sure enough, game 27. I just don't understand how it's possible, honestly. Dude is hitting well. But it's like he either hits or Ks. No groundouts or flyout. Two chances today, and as I mentioned, before, 8/10 games with three or fewer Abs.

That got me curious, including hits. So official AB - hits. Six of 27 games, he only made two outs. Here's the insanity. Six games he ONLY MADE ONE OUT!!! I mean think about that for a second. The guy is hitting like mad. Six of 27 games, only made one out. Just one. He hits like crazy, so much so he only records two outs in 1/4 of his games, and one out in another 1/4. You tell me, combined with his insane hitting, the statistical probability of recording a K in 27 straight. And it's not like he Ks every out. 40ks, 27 games, 96 Abs. The odds of King in six games with one out has to be below 1%. It's an obscure record, yeah, but most importantly, it just doesn't make any sense, honestly. As I said, it's just the worst string of luck ever. Likewise, if you're gonna make an out, it's a hell of a lot better than a GiDP, so combined with production, Sox fans should actually be totally happy about this.

And I'll save the inevitable.

TL;DR

Damn, that sounded so like something Lord Balrog would write, you made me visit his Twitter for the first time in a year. I was all set to go off on rather having 50HRs a year and a clubhouse leader and Peace broker, never mind the defense being questionable at times. Shame on you for making me read any of his writing.

Ex-Nats catcher Paul LoDuca did it again.  LoDuca is a very good horse racing handicapper who works for the horse racing gaming television channel TVG.  Last year LoDuca picked the winner of the 2011 Kentucky Derby "Animal Kingdom" who paid $43.80 to win and he comes back to pick this years winner "I'll Have Another" who pays $32.60.  Shame he didn't have that kind of lucky when a Nat, wonder who Fat Johnny picked?

First, Gomes is a one-dimensional player who is not even average.  He has one purpose in life - kill lefties for power.  Second, how on earth can anyone not like Jonny Gomes. The man overcomes a heart attack to be a masher.  Sticks up for his team mates in brawls.  He's from Petaluma, which only known for arm-wrestling champioships, and his arms look like popeye's (the sailor not the chicken).  Newell is an idiot.

i may go to good guys after the nats win tonight 8)

but i wasn't a huge fan of gomes until he came to the nats.  like the way he plays.  i can see the point, you love him if he's on your team ... hate him if he's on the other.
