Phillies fans are hilarious. The even more hilarious part was listening to Dave and Charlie on the radio just completely ROASTING their fanbase after Zimmerman did it. I believe they were telling them to enjoy their rides back up 95 and hopefully they were all drunk because we know that's all they do and they hoped they'd get pulled over, locked up and spend the entire weekend in jail.

Absolutely hilarious. To be honest, they sounded a little "fired up" themselves.

What game was that?  I don't remember it but if you give me the date I can look up the archive and hijack the audio.

August 19th of last year, Zimmerman's walk-off game against the Phillies. It happens after the game recap if I remember correctly, but it could be after Charlie says, "If you left early, YOU BLEW IT!!!!!" Or maybe that's Dave?

I didn't notice that part around the end.  Maybe I should have listened to the archive longer but I just don't care that much to do it right now

At bats by Jonny Gomes with the Nats in 2011.

(Image removed from quote.)

Going out on a bit with this one since we don't know if he'll be back yet...

I would SERIOUSLY doubt that Gomes will be back next season.

The number of batters faced by Stephen Strasburg.

Also the number of batters he'll strike out in his first 50 innings this season.

You know my love of Stammen.

I think he's a stud coming out of the pen.

.68 WHIP, .87 ERA

Who's hating?  It's a laughably small sample.  It's also worth noting that he hits arby next year.

It's a laughably small sample.

Rizzo has made rash evaluations on less.

It'd be great if he's a monster out of the pen this year but I doubt we'd pay to keep him around if that's the case.  More likely he's packaged as part of a deal for Rizzo's white whale, wouldn't you say?  Or maybe they'll take him to arby and then cut him during ST if he wins  :?
