Either...

A. Pujols is older than he says he is.

B. Braun suspended for roids

C. Someone died

D. Someone has AIDS

E. Someone was throwing games.

Wow.  Right after he wins the MVP.  Of course, Braun is claiming he did nothing wrong.  Very sad if true.

first two sound most likely, but that's completely just a guess.

Figured this will get enough activity to warrant a thread of its own.

Right after winning the MVP too?  :?

Tested positive in the playoffs.

He's been pretty upfront about not doing steroids... maybe I'm naive... have a feeling this was an accidental usage... either through taking something that he wasn't aware was on the list... or getting something tainted.

I mean, he's been tested for years... and now he gets popped? I don't know if I buy it.

True.  Not much of a bombshell or shocking news to me either, really.  I feared something worse, ala the Ramos Incident.

Having your MVP popped for roids is a bombshell, if you ask me. Especially someone that was considered a 'good guy'.

50 game ban.  Wow. Best off season move so far for the nats, another step closer to the wild card.

Still can't believe it. This like zimm getting busted.

i really hope that it's not true.  big fan of his.

the game had been cleaning up for some time, it'd be a shame if people start slipping.

It's hard to believe he did this intentionally, but maybe the playoffs put too much of a burden on his shoulders? I can't imagine what pressure he felt by his team and the Brewer fans to bring home a ring to Milwaukee. With that said, I hope this test was a false-positive.

Bud Selig once mentioned Braun and Zimm as examples of guys doing it the right way. Steroid free.

Quote
Braun had never been linked to PEDs previously; in fact, at the 2009 All-Star Game in St. Louis, when commissioner Bud Selig addressed efforts by Albert Pujols to tamp down questions about steroid use, he invoked Braun as a shining example of the sport's tough testing policy.

"Albert Pujols is absolutely right. He has been tested since he started playing," Selig said. "So has Ryan Howard. So has Ryan Braun, Ryan Zimmerman. Since they were in the minors."

I'm not as die-hard a baseball fan as some other people.  If it doesn't involve the Nats, I'm not as interested.  I don't mean it's not news worthy or anything.
