Marlins finished last year in last place.  Just a statement of fact.  Signing some free agents doesn't change that - they have to play games to change that.

Your excitement about the Marlins is almost cute.  It reminds me of Redskins fans in the offseason.

What excitement?  I don't think I've ever said anything declarative like "The Marlins will win the WS" or "Hanley Ramirez is an MVP candidate", in fact I haven't.  Clowning on you and others poopooing a division rival strengthening their lineup while the Nats stay in neutral is hoot number one for me though.  Thanks for playing.

Seems reasonable to me.  Maybe you should change the name of the thread, though.   ;)  Any suggestions?  (If the winter meetings are still going on, you wouldn't know it from this thread).
