We need to find the next Mike Trout. He slipped through the cracks a little because he wasn't from a place known for producing great baseball talent. (ie texas, California, Florida) Trout got a bonus of $1.215 million. That is what the nats need to do. Identify the young talent, know how much it will take to get them, and get it done.
He slipped because there were questions about whether or not he could hit premiere pitching which isn't plentiful in cold weather- he ended up panning out, so good for the angels, but it's not like there is some guy in the boonies finding the next catfish hunter.
