Found this to be an interesting article/poll in today's Post about "fans" in the DC area:

Personally in order, I'm a football, baseball, hockey, basketball, soccer fan or  Steelers, Nats, Caps, Wiz, United (and more so generally like the Premier League).    I also like the "good story" in season,  i.e.   Manchester City beating United, Cam Newton, Michigan State beating Wisconsin, Pujols, MD basketball, Ovie vs Sid the Kid, John Wall, etc.

I was on that train as well.    Hell, the OP must have needed filler.   I guess what surprised me is the Steelers didn't poll higher :)

Baseball - megafan
Basketball - meh
Football - supermeh
Soccer - pretty awesome
Hockey - yawn
Boxing - yawn
College Everything Except Baseball - yawn
Rugby - THE SPORT OF THE GODS

I have absolutely bailed out on boxing.   I won't watch it.   What is "meh"?

I'm down to caring about the Nats and Skins and occasionally watching college football if there is a good matchup. I'd say mega on both, but for football, it's more because I usually have 980 on in the background and all they ever talk about is football
