Really starting to hate this freaking team.  Seriously, I think the Marlins just jumped the Phillies.

Horrible, couldn't get out LH hitter who had 2 HRs in 200+ ABs this year prior to that AB.

Laughable. The fact that Slaten was still on the active roster speaks volumes about Rizzo's intelligence.

I simply don't get it.  Unless something has really gone wrong...or he has pictures, Doug Slaten is not going to be on this team next year.  What is the fascination with continuing to use him?

If you're going to use Doug Slaten, you might as well use Livan Hernandez!

Hopefully the last pitch Doug Slaten ever throws for us.

Probably is.  We have enough lefty depth without him.

Slaten has been the worst pitcher in baseball. Why does he get unlimited chances? I truly can't believe Davey conceded and used him tonight. Burnett, Storen, Clippard, Mattheus, etc were all available.

They're making decisions on who to re-sign for next year.  We all know what Clippard can do for us, but I guess they wanted another look at Slaten.  Certainly it made sense to use a lefty in that situation.
