What does Pudge still need to catch Jeter?  A couple hundred hits?

Why is Carpenter providing frequent updates of the Cardinals game? That doesn't affect the Nationals.

C'mon Spider.   He's disguising his love of the Cards as an update on the wildcard race.

It's crap like that that makes me hope he's gone next season.

I bet Carpenter has never pulled for the Nats as much as he is today.

Yeah I know. Chief brought that up and it is a concern but I've been done with Carpenter for at least two years.

Seems like they were trying out Dave Jageler. I like his approach a lot.

Piggy backing on a Kilgore tweet, Strasburg's 14/0 K/BB ratio is pretty impressive in 18 innings this year.  But in his last 4 starts CMW, in 23 2/3 innings, has a 16/0 ratio.  That'll get the job done.

Wang chop-sticked the Broves today:

6 IP 4 hits, 1 ER, 0 BB, 4 K's

He's got a face for radio, and a voice made for FM, but you wouldn't see him much on the tube anyway.

That would be terrific!
