The Official Smiley Request Thread
« Topic Start: January 14, 2007, 05:06:27 PM »
Since one of the requests in my recent thread about improving the forum was "more smilies," I thought I'd start a thread where everyone can post what smilies they'd like to have added to the forum collection.  Try to keep it resonable...  nothing huge or excessively "inappropriate."

update 05/02/2007 - the following new smileys have been added and can be found in the "more" section:

:woop: and :panic:

I'd obviously like this one, though it's a bit bigger than the default size you have here

And how about a couple of baseball smileys -

I suspect when our resident smiley-king 'nats2playoffs' sees this thread, you may live to regret asking for suggestions!

there were some interesting smileys last year associated with a certain photo that got posted...the picture showed a couple of fans surrounded by empty seats by the back wall who appeared to have been caught in flagrante delictum...Nats2playoffs might recall

It took me a few minutes to remember what photo Ali Cat was recalling.
Then I remembered...that Smiley would NOT meet The Chief's standard.
The photo reminds me of...

When watching a game while reading a Game Thread, you sometimes need a spit-take rather quickly...

and sometimes a player, or manager or umpire needs to be punished...

We need some drinking smileys.  Could be a season that requires additional assistance.

Yeah I remember that one. I took someone to a game last year to prove to her that baseball was not boring. It was a slow Friday night loss to Milwakee. She wasn't thrilled by the game action so I emailed her that photo to show her that people do have fun at games   . She stopped talking to me after that move   .

I have the email but I don't know how to post it. It was the one with the girl that fell asleep with her head resting on her boyfriends lap so it looked like something else was going on (thus the Airplane reference nats2playoffs posted).

  :ballbat:  :mitt:    :bang:  :koolaid:    :hung:  :uk:  :funny:  :stupid:    :glug:

Sorry but I elected not to add the poo "smiley."  If you guys want to link it sometimes that's fine, but I didn't think it was necessary to have it built-in ;)

Bump for this thread, which seems to have been forgotten.  I added two new smilies which are showcased in an update to the original post.

I think that a head-scratching smiley would be useful. This one :stupid: could be misinterpreted.

Edit: A few possibilities...
