I guess that Davey is going to let Milone pitch another tour through the Astros lineup...as in, this is a pre-season game, so let's see what the kids can do before we send him to oblivion.

So the guy tries to sac bunt and is thrown out, but the 1B ump calls the play on account of thinking that the runner came into contact with the ball, which is also an out.  As a result, the guy gets to keep batting?

:bang:

I believe they ruled the ball hit the barrel of the bat on the hop.

Did they ever verify that was Lombardozzi's father they were showing yesterday?

OK...now that's one I haven't seen since I coached Little League...at least I don;t remember a professional runner hit by a straight simple ground ball.

Just put the game on.

How has Milone looked?  Lucky to be sitting at 2 runs?

Not only have I seen enough to know Milone's not a major league pitcher, I want him out of the organization.  We can't waste more time on the Tom Milones of the world.  We've had too many of them.

I don't think Machine Gun Milone is that bad at all.  Water Pistol Milone?

Lombo showing off decent fundamentals there.  Accurate arm but not the gun the Desmond has.

There have been more than a few here who have been in love with him and even had him penciled in the rotation of the future.

You also think Ian Desmond has proven more than Danny Espinosa.

So........ yeah.

Just for the record - I've never heard of WB Mason (until the MASN commercials) and I've never seen a WB Mason.

Now I know why ... there are NONE in Virginia:

Hello, Bob C: Milone gave up 8 hits. Yes, he did get knocked around.

I don't mind a side line reporter asking a stupid question like that, but If we have to put up with questions like that, at least MASN can give us eye candy asking the question

This.

There have been more than a few here who have been in love with him and even had him penciled in the rotation of the future.

Let's not get too carried away here.  Everyone knew his velocity was Livanesque, but his achievements merited a look in the majors.  Most of us have never seen him pitch before being called up, so there's a lot of interest in watching him throw, trying to figure out exactly how this guy with nothing can strike out nearly 10 batters for every one walked.  I am extremely interested in watching the guy pitch, but to say that means I have him penciled in in the rotation is kind of silly.  Perhaps you are referring to other posters, but I don't really recall such brash claims.

But I will be happy to be corrected!    :P
