According to an usher, a dude in 115 was taken by ambulance to GW tonight, watch out for foul balls.

Lombo with number 1 takes a walk. Perfect. See Eddie Yost, number 1 through most of the '50s, who had such a good eye that umpires let him decide balls. If the pitch was close and Yost didn't swing, it was a ball. (Same with Ted Williams)

See http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/y/yosted01.shtml

Compare the walks to the Ks. Career 1600 walks, 900 strikeouts.

I wonder if he has freshly-frosted tips for his return to the bigs?

A woman we know got drilled by a foul ball from Dmitri Young, busted her teeth and fractured her jaw.

Our inability to score with 2 outs has killed us all season long.

Missed that one.  My mind must have been boggled from watching two games and listening to Auburn v Vermont.

Watching this crapfest is more appealing than the electrifying conclusion of this game...

The essence of clutch-less hitters.

Somebody should be fired for this performance...which is a post you can make after many games.
