I wonder if other booth announcers have as much difficulty judging fly balls as Carpenter.

9 Ks and 4 HRs - quite a DIPS day.

Espinosa strikes out way too much. Can't wait for Lombo.

That fooled me as well.

Rivera stopped moving, so it looked like he was watching it leave the yard.

Carpenter needs to go

He's got a pleasant voice. And everyone should have the chance to watch the Nats on the other team's broadcast. So many unbearable announcers! The Atlanta guys sound asleep. Michael Kay, Yankees, spends the game talking inside jokes with his "sidekick". Then there is "He gone" Ken Harrelson...

Anyway, Carpenter is OK to my ears.

I'm not going to start ripping Espinosa until I see him slump like this for another 1/2 to 2/3 of next season.

Feel free to rip on him... but until people realize how much a better player he is than Ian Desmond... they really don't have room to rip him.

Werth will never be worth the money, but if we can get 20-20 with a .330 OBP in a down year from our CF....
