We all watched this sh**fest to the bitter end.  What do you all think Mike Rizzo did this evening?

I am always doing something else when the game is on.  At the Nationals worst, mute the sound and listen to Charlie & Dave, so you can still follow the "action" with MINIMAL attention.

This team is just not worth getting worked up about.

I'm just salty because of this damn car horn.  I spent most of the game relearning SAS Macros and trying to get Python to quit pissing me off.  Pretty much failed on all accounts.

Is that screen shot from Fast Times at Ridgemont High?

Yes, the "Fast Times" theme began with post #394 on the previous page, offering the Lerners Are Cheap (L.A.C.) explanation for why the Nationals stopped fireworks. It saves about $380,000 per season, I think.

Ironically, "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" is being shown on VH1 now (11 pm - 1 am), followed by Porky's.

After paying his john debts to all the male prozzies in Tulsa or whatever benighted flyover dump he hangs his tax-exempt hat in.

That guy should really go eat a bullet.

Rizzo was ordering his "people" to sandbag his Ocean City house while he waits out the storm at his country house in Bridgewater, VA.

Yes this is a legitimate post of the year candidate.

Would you rather hear fireworks?  :?

That's one minor leaguer's salary.

$380K also would buy a lot of baseballs, freeing the players to toss them up to the fans without fear of being reprimanded, but you know how the old man feels about that.
