Gameday showed the pitch to Werth as a strike. It was definitely caught low, but it's supposed to be called based on where the ball is when it crosses the front of the plate. Borderline call, but it is what it is...

Game over? Seriously? No wonder there are no Nats fans at the ballpark.

Halladay doesn't do well in humid games, Nats have a good beat on him - should be a good back and forth game.

We have some folks here who like to call "game" as soon as the other team comes to bat

Nice recovery by Wang after the HR. As for Halladay, he's also coming off a really long outing, a complete game loss. I think we should be able to get some more runs off of him...

I'm not saying it's over, but we've seen this all season. We have a great first inning, score some runs, then completely disappear for the rest of the game. Random no-name 5ERA pitchers have done this to us. This is Halladay.

Exactly - we are WAY overusing our arms at this point in the season. No way Halladay needs to throw a CG each time out. If Wang keeps his pitches down in the zone, our hitters are gonna have issues today.
