Any bone can fracture
Could you have a broken elbow?

I fractured my elbow playing football.

That pisses me off so much. What was the point of a pitch like that with 2 strikes?

We should be sending Laynce Nix out to the mound to junk-punch Dempster

Ummm...I don't think it was intentional.  he was trying to bust him inside and Morse leans over the plate a bit, it just got away from Dempster a bit and came in a little further than he wanted it to.  Wasn't intentional.  I still hope they bring in HRod and he puts one in Soriano's back.

i'm cool with that.  we're not winning this series (even though we've won the season series).  may as well go gangsta on them.

Nix looks just as useless. Nats continue to foul off bad pitches left down the middle

It definitely wasn't intentional. But with 2 strikes? He hasn't pitched inside very much all day, and has been living off his slider. Just a stupid  pitch in my opinion.

haha he wasn't at all.  in a 1-1 run game in the 7th with two strikes.  you could see dempster's face, that was the last thing he was trying to do.

i just don't like the cubs 8)

Amen. I can't stand the Cubs, and would love to see one inside on Ramirez or Soriano. Just to show hey we can pitch inside like that too.

The "why" doesn't make Morse any less injured.

Why?  Try and bust him in, get him off the plate, come back with the slider away and get him chasing.  We've already seen that happen today.  The strategy seems reasonable to me, he just didn't execute it.

Our offense is atrocious. And now with Morse out it's AAA-esque.

Horrific Nix.

Leadoff baserunner produces nothing. Nats are lifeless

Nix has been out for a few games. Do you think it's easy to just come back and start raking again?

Exactly. The Nats aren't scoring any more so we may as well peg Castro

Seems that the Nats never drill or at least buzz someone
