Runners left on base in every inning so far.

Nix can't lay off stuff in the dirt. huge weakness

The middle of the order is great right now because of Jayson Werth becoming a factor. He was an automatic out for so long, now he has realized he has a bat when he goes into the batters box. Zim finding form and Morse permanently staying hot.

Damn Nix, balls in the dirt. smh

If we lose this game, we'll have lost it in the first three inning.  You're not likely to leave this many runners on base and not pay for it in the end.

So far, so good.  Let's see what happens the second and third time through the order.

So being an out of town nats fan and having to listen to a lot of the other guys broadcasts on mlb.tv (b/c I'm cheap) is actually kinda interesting.  But let me say...

The Rockies broadcast is absolutely awful.  I have to deal with the camera cutting to random fan birthday parties, or getting all up in some nasty looking pizza or nachos in between every pitch.  And the commentary...I dont' think they have mentioned the actual game once!

Anyone else watching these yahoos?

Thankfully MLB Extra Innings also has the Nationals broadcasters available tonight along with the Rockies ones.

Like I said earlier. Colorado to me is the most beautiful state in the country, and I've been to a fair amount of states. It's just a pretty place. I've never been to Coors for a game though.

New Mexico has its charms.  I've never been to Wyoming, but gotta think it ranks pretty highly.

Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming are all beautiful.  I got to spend quality time in all three last month.  I went to  Coors the year it opened ('97) but haven't been back since, despite multiple visits to Colorado.  I wanted to go this year, but the Rockies were on the road (in D.C., ironically enough) when it best fit into my schedule.

Carp keeps mentioning Colorado Springs.  Ted Haggard must be in the park...he loves ball games.
