4 HRs, 14 RBIs over the last 5 games for Harper.

He's warm coach.

Harper = potentially Josh Hamilton
Norris = potentially Mike Napoli
I like that combination.

I like that combination.

as long as Werth isn't potentially Nelson Cruz in RF.  :-)

Hey, Nelson has a cannon and won one game with it.  It's just he misjudged one fly over his head. Come to think of it, he IS Werth in right!

Holy cow the kid is on fire. I can't believe someone almost three years younger than me is doing this to the class of the minor leagues and the best competition he's ever seen by far. This bodes well.

I bet Davey really likes this. He wants Harper on his team.

:shrug: At this point, little would surprise me aside from mediocrity. He is a beast among kittens.

If he keeps this up through spring training we're going to see how much sway Davy has with Rizzo

This kid is a freak (in a good way) and it should surprise nobody if he skips AAA altogether. But I still say he starts at AAA, comes up in June, and I win my bet with my boy linty.:~)

Solis pitching tonight (K'd 3 of the first 5 he faced), Harper GIDP on his first AB so he's obviously ready to take Pudge's spot in the lineup. :)

Walters and Norris are playing as well.

solis gets into a bases-loaded jam in the fourth, but gets out of it with his 9th K.  4IP, 9Ks, 3BB, 3H, 0ER.

Harper flied out in the 5th, 0-3 so far.  Norris 0-2 with a walk.  Top of the 5th.

Oh man, now add Solis to the list of top prospects. 9 Ks in 4 innings is bestial.

next september may be crazy with Milone, Peackock, Solis, Detwiler and Purke all possibly vying for rotation spots
