The score is tied but we're losing this game!

Just look at the pitch counts.  Those extra pitches aren't free!!

Are you watching a different game than I am? Patterson looks like he's getting more confidant with every pitch...

Yeah, that's what I think too.
Real nice sequence to Ensberg.

At around 100 pitches, John Patterson's control goes out the window.  We should try to delay that for as long as possible.

It's not good to be at 53 in the 3rd inning!

Patterson always has a rough first inning...that's where most of his pitches came from.

Houston color guy was going on last night about what a mystery Guzman is.

Guy hit over .270 last season, mostly outta the #2 spot. You didn't expect him to hit .300 but not .200 either.

Bet Bowden has gone thru some soul searching . . . "What did I miss when I evaluated this guy???"

I mean, guy is 27, you knew when you signed him he wasn't jeter but you figured you had a pretty good defensive SS who at least could contribute lower down in the order.

Weird.

Hard to say Patterson isn;t legit at this point.

One of the opposing team's color guys who was a pitcher - forget who - was commenting it's really only a surprise because of the few major league starts he's had.

otherwise, not a total shock that a top draft pick starts looking real good entering his prime.

And the one sure fire way to throw a bucket of ICEWATER on the Nats is Christain "Groundout" Guzman

You just knew a double play was in the cards!

Would Carroll have hit into a double play?

Is "grounding into double plays" an official stat?  Does MLB keep count?

Just imagine what our season would look like without that worthless peice of trash in our lineup.  We probably would have won about 10 more games than we have.  AND we probably wouldn't have had so many one run games.   :x

I know they keep track but I've looked before but couldn't find it.  Could you find it and post how many he's had?  I'd love to know the number.
