Better chance the Nats win or Casey Anthony is found innocent?

Ha!  We've got to light this Ortiz up asap.  God help us if Detwiler struggles in the first.

I doubt it, when you look at the top of this lineup it shouldn't strike fear in anyone.  Ramon will probably get a complete game 4-hitter.   :|

I hope not.  I want to see Cubs fans crying tonight!

Detwiler hasn't been anything spectacular at AAA this year. I wish we could've seen Millone or Peacock, but oh well.

Ortiz is absolutely pathetic. We SHOULD be able to light him up. But of course with the Nats it doesn't always turn out that way.

hammonds, for some reason your avatar looks photoshopped. I think it's because of how bright and shiny that hat is and how old and wrinkly Davey is. :mg:

If they had lost yesterday I am sure he would have been in tonight.

Bernadina still owes us three runs from yesterday.  Time to start paying that back, Shark.

I saw where they want to keep him out 3 or 4 games.  It's a very deep bruise.

Yikes I like Nix but he is not a 1B-man. I hate that we are having to play him there. You can't just throw someone out there. This feels like the past years where we threw the likes of Belliard at 1B.

I thought Johnson said it showed to be a hairline fracture... but I could be making that up.

Not that this is a massive determiner, but his June numbers are impressive.  In last 6 starts "R Det" is 3-1 / 2.38 ERA  / 25 KO's / 32 IP / 1 HR.  He's not sucking eggs, and seems to be more focused.  He might just do well enough to keep the Nats in it.

That's awesome, thanks for those numbers.

He started playing better precisely at the point that Maya was called up and he wasn't.  I think he noticed.

I'm stuck at home tonight so everyone going rep us well.  I'm really hoping Ross is crisp and on tonight, I'd really like to see us crush the Chubs.
