Espinosa needs to show MLB that he should have gone to the All Star game.

Yup.   Milano was a serial jock dater.

I'm not sure dater is the word I would use to describe her relations with the sports stars of LA.

You pointed to a predictive metric as a reason why though.  You could have just said "I don't like it."
I don't like it because I think his ERA is deceptive and makes him appear to be a better pitcher than he actually is.  I think if his ERA were 4.50, which I expect it to trend towards because SIERA does tend to predict future ERA (note that it predicts future ERA, not precisely what each plate appearance from here on out will be like), we would probably be unhappy with Davey Johnson putting him in at that point with many fresher options available in the bullpen.

F.P. just cited fangraphs. That's awesome. Nice work, F.P. Few broadcasters would do that.

I didn't read any of this because I don't really care.

He plagiarized that from Chief.

To be fair, I have no real research to back it up, just summarizing what I see.  I would be very interested to compare numbers against other teams, though.  Just too lazy to compile those numbers

I don't think he was even expecting that to break that far inside.
