hammonds is a fanboy so it will take a ton more of the same for him to come around. Just the other day he dogged Bernadina all game for an error but refused to do the same for his beau Ian Desmond the very next day when Desmond freaked up royally.

He just dogs Bernadina out of habit from the days when SF was crushing on him.  He doesn't seem to have noticed that SF pretty much hates everybody now.

Wow, talk about shafting Zimmermann.

Definitely but it's not the scorer who is shafting him. It's his defense.

Bernie didn't get an error on that first play, so there is only one unearned run, right?

The second play he never came near it to make an attempt on the play so they have to rule that a hit.

Desmond just an automatic out these days. How can he be this bad?! Was he just lucky last year?

As always... Bernadina hits like a CF'er and fields like... Well, after this game, I don't have a clue.

Nothing new about this team screwing him though, it's just usually from behind the plate instead of on the field.

I've never seen Debbi Taylor before this past month or so...wow, she is about the most useless.

We've had to put up with her for 6 years now.  :hang:

Chad Cordero should be a pitching coach for the Nats organization!

Our pitching is bad enough already.

This team will only score 2 runs today.  Book it Dano.

A HR here would get those 2 runs back, Bernie.

If Bernadina GIDP here, I think Zimmermann might attack him with his shoe as they ran off the field.

And our best hitter in this lineup is our rookie 2nd baseman.

Just terrible.

Alex Cora has 0 HR this season, good to know there's actually no chance whatsoever of our scoring a run here.

Must be pretty embarassing for Werth and Desmond to see Jordan Zimmermann hit better than them.

Are there any hitters in our farm system that have a chance to be great in the bigs other than Harper and Norris?

“@AdamKilgoreWP: The #Nats have one hit since the first inning, and it came courtesy of Jordan Zimmermann.”
