This is not on Werth.  That's a routine fly out for an even mediocre CFer.

Our outfield defense is why our UZR is right around average.

Okay, I'm starting to believe Linty. Roger is taking some crazy routes out there.. not comforting at all.

It wasn't the route, it looked like he just had no idea where the ball was.  Either that or he was expecting Werth to get it for some unfathomable reason.

We should be hitting Coleman. But the Cubs bullpen is pathetic as well.

Bernadina is the worst OFer in baseball at reading fly balls. His perception is pitiful

fyi, I posted before the outfield pop-up.

I was referring to Espy's drop.

I hate to nitpick but I can't stand those sunglasses that Werth wears. They don't even look like they should be worn on a baseball field

4th   A Soriano singled to center, A Ramirez and M Byrd scored, A Soriano to second advancing on throw.

Cubs/Bernadina    3
Nationals              2

Even on the third out he seemed to totally misread the ball. Hopefully he improves, don't know what else to say.

It wouldn't hurt if he was at least looking for a ball or trying to get to it when it dropped. He stands there and looks like he doesn't give a rat's ass, which seems to be more and more true every day.

Theres just no excuse for what just happened, someone has to take responsibility , i really feel for J.Zimmermann because he should have the no-no going on right now, all fielding errors cost him.

Lol I had forgotten that Bernadina also cost us the first run.  Score should read

Nats - 2
Roger Bernadina - 3

Both Bernie and Werth should have had a bead on that ball. Werth should have been right there to catch it if Bernie wasn't calling for it. He just stood there like an jerk and watched it fall.

Bernie is just a bad outfielder period
