JZ is unreal right now.  If Bernadina does what a good defensive CF is supposed to do it's still 2-0.

Desmond is absolutely worthless at the plate right now. He grounds out to shortstop literally every time.

That is not true, he also sometimes strikes out.

The ASG is a complete joke. They have home field at stake on the game and they allow fans to stuff the ballot box to allow players like Jeter to play in the game. I remember how exciting I used to get about the ASG as a kid. Nowadays I don't give a freak about the game.

Cubs are actually a really good hitting team, it's there pitching and defense that sucks.

Very true! At least he switches it up every now and then.

The Nats are going to regret not scoring more in the first. Stairs FAIL

That's why hammonds nicknamed him K.I.D or Kaka Ian Desmond.

Yeah Desmond is just lost at the plate.  He might as well try bunting.  But then again his leg is hurting so that may not work, either.

Is anyone else disgusted by the fact either a) our farm system is so depleted we can't find another 1b to bring up so we have to use Stairs

or,

b) our manager/GM likes Stairs enough to use him at 1b regardless of the talent we have in the farm?

Marrero is waiting in the wings in AAA. Hasn't shown a ton of power but overall he's done well.
